Recorder Extravaganza with Palisander Friday 10th May St Catherine’s Church Ventnor

The music hub is delighted to be partnering with Fairest Isle Early Music Festival to bring a recorder project to the island via Palisander who are a professional recorder group lead by Island alumni Miriam Monaghan!  Schools will receive some recorder arrangements for your groups to start to learn in the Spring term (after February half term) and a free workshops from the music hub to introduce the material leading to a performance event at St Catherine’s Church in Ventnor with the following dates and timings.  There is limited space for up to 60 pupils to take part so we may limit this to 15 per school depending on take up.

Friday 10th May

16:30 - 17:00 Parents drop off at the church (school staff in charge of students)

17:00 - 17:45 Rehearse with Palisander and other schools/groups

17:45 - 18:15 Packed tea

18:15 - 18:45 FREE concert for parents/public

18:45- 19:00 Parents to collect

8pm - 9pm Palisander Fairest Isle Concert
