Come on down to The Classic Boat Museum in Cowes and spend some time learning about the boats and maritime history on site followed by a sea shanty workshop from the music hub at the museum. We will hear a special sea shanty written for the RNLI 200th anniversary in 2024 plus some IOW specific sea shanties taken from last year’s shanty project. The tour and workshop are open to one class at a time due to limitations of space in the boat shed but more than one group are welcome to come and participate at different times.
You will then have an opportunity to perform them at the boatshed prior to the Classic Boat Museum’s special fundraising dinner for the RNLI Centenary on 24th May 2024
